The Western Skies Golf Club is a traditional style layout located in the suburb of Gilbert just outside of Phoenix. Situated about twenty to twenty five minutes from the airport, Western Skies is a great course for golfers of all different levels. Not only does the course offer a great round of golf but it also has some really incredible amenities.
Generous landing areas and devilish water hazards on 5 holes make this traditional style course a runaway favorite among those 'in the know'. Fairways not only frequently reveal pleasant mountain views, they are lined with mature Mesquite and Pinion, lending a 'day out in the countryside' feel to the course. Before last year, Western Skies had a big heart, but it was kind of tired - rode hard. That's all changed now, following a multi-million dollar investment in a complete renovation of not just the course, but also the entire
facility. Thanks to an expansive collaboration between Paradigm Pacific and Jack Nicklaus Senior Designer, John Olenowski, Western Skies is chomping at the bit again. To say this course is in great condition is an understatement.
