August 24, 2008: The Western Skies Golf Club is a traditional style layout located in the suburb of Gilbert just outside of Phoenix. Situated about twenty to twenty five minutes from the airport, Western Skies is a great course for golfers of all different levels.

Generous landing areas and devilish water hazards on 5 holes make this traditional style course a runaway favorite among those 'in the know'.
Fairways not only frequently reveal pleasant mountain views, they are lined with mature Mesquite and Pinion, lending a 'day out in the countryside' feel to the course.
Before last year, Western Skies had a big heart, but it was kind of tired - rode hard. That's all changed now, following a multi-million dollar investment in a complete renovation of not just the course, but also the entire
facility.
