**4.5 Star Course** Its abundant supply of renowned golf course, you’ll find the Golf Club at Eagle Mountain. Opened in January 1996, this award-winning course beckons those who desire an outstanding golf experience.
Nestled in the ravines of the pristine McDowell Mountains and colorized by dramatic sunrises and sunsets, Eagle Mountain offers some of the most outstanding views of the Valley of the Sun.
On clear days you can see south to the San Tan Mountains and beyond, and always, the splendor of picturesque Red Mountain looms just to the east of the course.
The par – 71, 6,755-yard course, designed by Scott Miller offers one of the fairest tests of golf in the Valley for all skill levels. The low and high handicapper alike can enjoy the generous contoured fairways, designed for forgiveness, which traditional desert-style courses typically lack.
Throughout the course you’ll see how Miller designed it with nature and preservation of the natural desert surroundings in mind as it winds through natural box canyons, rolling hills and lush desert terrain.
A spectacular representation of man’s creation in harmony with nature, special attention should be made of the various feature gardens found on the course including one devoted to the variety of native cactus, one for attracting hummingbirds, one to attract butterflies and a garden devoted just to the Desert Agave plant. Eagle Mountain extends a warm welcome to all who visit.
From the moment guests arrive; a staff of friendly and attentive professionals greets them. The full-service clubhouse, undergoing a remodel and renovation throughout the summer of 2001, provides an award winning, traditional golf shop, day lockers, a halfway house, an outdoor event pavilion, and a new expanded restaurant and bar with spectacular views! |
