Whirlwind Golf Club is a truly unique southwest golf experience. The course, clubhouse and teaching center are sensitively designed to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the Gila River Indian Community. Golf course architect Gary Panks artfully blends saguaro, palo verde, mesquite and cottonwood trees with native grasses and rolling terrain to create a challenging, fair and memorable round.
Located just off of Maricopa Road and I-10, Cattail at Whirlwind Golf Club incorporates three lake features and the 2.5 mile, man-made recreation of the original Gila River. |
